- Soak your brown sugar buddy in water for 5 minutes and pat dry
- Place into your bag of brown sugar to retain moisture and softness
- Repeat the process each time you use your brown sugar
- The idea is that you're using your brown sugar often and re-hydrating the brown sugar buddy often
