I have the large wood grain pin I use my pins for pottery and I love this small grain one too. I use them for different things when I am hand building.
I would suggest if you don't know which one to buy get both you will be surprised how much you use both of them!
Ok I can tell you these are the best rolling pins for clay. I own at least 20 of their pins!! The cut is deep gives you a great impression! Rollers are well made! The hard part for me is which ones am I buying next!
