Sugar Cookies with Textured Rolling Pin Recipe
Recipe
- 1 Cup Softened Butter
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Egg Slightly Beaten
- 3 TSP Vanilla
- 3 Cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 TSP Baking Powder
Instructions
- Blend butter and sugar until creamy
- Mix in egg and vanilla
- Add in dry ingredients
- Divide the dough in half, and shape both halves into disks. Wrap in plastic wrap/parchment paper, and refrigerate for at least one hour.
- Working one disk at a time, flour your work area surface and roll the dough 1/4 inch thick. (I prefer to roll my dough in between two pieces of parchment paper.)
- Generously flour your textured rolling pin with moderate pressure, roll over the dough until images appear.

- Bake at 375°F for 7-10 minutes.
Notes
- If using our textured rolling pin, generously flour the pin before each pass over the dough, which will prevent sticking.
- To clean the embossed rolling pin, wash it under hot water immediately after use. Air dry
