FAQ

🧁 Sweet Rolling Pins — Frequently Asked Questions

1. What are engraved rolling pins?

Engraved rolling pins feature beautifully carved patterns that emboss your cookie dough or fondant with detailed designs. Each Sweet Rolling Pin is laser-engraved for crisp impressions and made from premium hardwoods for long-lasting use.

2. How do I use an engraved rolling pin?

Roll out your chilled dough to about ¼ inch thick.

Lightly dust your dough and the pin with flour to prevent sticking. *This is an important step*

Gently roll over the dough once with even pressure.

Cut your cookies and bake as usual!
Tip: Works best with simple doughs, such as sugar cookies or shortbread. Or, a recipe that does not call for a lot of baking soda or baking powder.
Tip: Dough loves to be cold or at least chilly.

3. How do I clean and care for my rolling pin?

After each use, wash your rolling pin under hot water and let it air dry.
Avoid soaking in water or putting it in the dishwasher. Occasionally, treat it with food-grade mineral oil or beeswax to preserve the wood and keep it from drying out.
